The Windsor F.C. Nationals '89 team lost a hard-fought semi-final game in the Ontario Cup to a highly ranked team from St. Catherines. After going down by two goals, the Nationals fought back to tie the game, but a late goal by their opponents followed by another insurance marker right at the end proved too much to overcome.
